Although some people might find them ''cheesey'' for lack of a better word, I find them very posotive. I myslef take Tae Kwon Do. It keeps you in shape, teaches you wrong from right, and its fun. If you take anything else, select toher and post what it is.
No , but if i ever decided to take Martial arts , it'd be Ninjitsu or Tae-kwon-do Kickboxing ; karate is overrated...
lol i do kickboxing ! its awesome...it keeps u in shape....teahces u 2 use ur feet very well *of course* and it makes u very self confident...and bendy lol
i do taekwondo ive done it for 5 years its good it teaches self confidence and plus u use ur feet alot and ur hands and knee's and elbows plus u get flexible like with my legs straight i can touch the ground with my palm plus if u do a martial art u dont get bullyed i havent lost a fight so far
(^frodo)Yep, i have been taking it for 8 years, and I have just tested for my blackbelt last month. Of course 8 years is a long time to wait to test now and days, because i see people all around me do it for like 3 years and test for there black belt. But anyways, i just tested, and now I have to wait atleast 6 months for my balck belt, and my black belt certificate to come in. The belts are made in tensesee i believe, but the certificates come all the way from korea. Anyways, the people who dont do them, should start.
I do martial arts. Just tested for my black belt in Karate in November Black belt in Ho Shin Do Starting Kung Fu in Spring, it's good for competition, very pretty style.
I took them when I was like 10 or something. I don't really think that it builds self discipline, because the kids who were jerks when I were in it are jerks now.
