I think it should be legal for sure..

I mean, the US is fighting a war on pot for God's sakes.. pot!
They're fighting the wrong war for the wrong reasons, while the could adopt it as an industry (like Amsterdam) and start letting people make their own decisions instead of telling us that we must say no (which incidentily makes most people say yes)

the reason its illegal is because many people consider it a gateway drug, the media believes if they smoke weed theyll be prone to try other drugs but this is not the case, sure some do use it as a gateway drug but theres also people who stick to herb only. i know people who would lay it down for herb but are scared s--tless of heavier substances such as blow. and it dosnt impair driving skills such as the affects of alcohol. ive even had my doctor tell me straight up marijuana is safer then cigarettes, booze, and other illegal drugs.

yeah.. a friend of mine went to his doctor and his doctor basically told him

"you are at a young to be smoking cigarettes, try to get off them as they are a very bad habit... as for marijuana, do not abuse it"

Cure depression? Not so sure, that will get you addict to pot. Like everyone do with alcohol to forget their life.

The only cure to depression is our mind.

    no they wouldnt...

its like people nowadays, they're more concerned about alcohol because they are more aware of it and they knows its illegal under whatever age

kids already do get their hands on weed easy enough, any kid in school can get some easily

if weed were legalized, everyone would know its around and more older people would be on the lookout for young offenders

    You're painfully mistaken.
If the US (or wherever else) were to legalize it and take the appropriate actions education everyone (with no bias) about it, most people will make the choice for themselves wether they want to do it or not.
In Amsterdam, it's legal, yet a smaller percentage of the people there smoke in comparsion to the US.
