Does anyone know how to create a ringtone?

I can give you the songfile.. Just need it formatted or whatnot.

Or I can do it myself if you teach me!

I'll throw some credits in the air. :)

I have a program I use. It's how I make most of my ringtones.

    They end up as .mp3s

All I need is the song that you want into a ringtone and what part of the song you want.

I was wondering, if the cell phone doesn't have the internet, can it still get real music for ringtones?

depending on your phone you might be able to use a cable but it all depends on the model of phone you have

    I have a Sony Ericcson W810i.

It came with a file transfer program and a data cable.

I have another program to make the ringtones.

what type of phone do you have anyway? a lot of phones use memory cards also and that way you can just transfer the ringtones that way. mine has a 2GB microSD card
