Hiya i was wondering if .... anyone or someone has an idea of how i can make some money I am a highschool student in 11th grade and i will be graduating next year to go to HarvardCollege (maybe i applied ...:unsure:...) anyways i am in need of about 2-3thousand dollars by my next birthday (september 15th 2006) when i turn 17 (and finish my 1 1/2 years at gamerenders) anyways I am need of the money because i want to do something good for my grandfather (who passed away ) he did alot for me, hell...he raised me from a 1day old son to a 15year old boy (teen) so i would love to do something for him maybe give the money to charity or something and if i can make that much money in the few months i also will need to get about 500-600 so i will have enough for two months of my car insurance when i will get my new car on sep15 this year (woot ) anyways i would just like to see some of you guys's ideas on this plan of mine think you can help me? :huh: if you help me in geting my goal maybe i can send some money over to your paypal account or a moneyorder to your house ^_^ thanks again and hope to hear from you soon -zain
Hmm how could you possibly make money... I have no clue? Maybe a job? no... nevermind, and job can't get you money :blink: jk Truthfully just get a local job. Work at a fast food resturant, at a grocery store, or any where.
Are you good at counting a lot of money? Do you drive? Are you drug free? Do you have a good background? Are you honest? If so I know of a good playing job. about $10.00 an hour.
Nope not down here in Maryland & DC we have a short in jobs due to them hurricane victims they took them all up.And places to live.
True True True. Nice to see another Marylander around. Try landscaping (aka ctting grass) Thats what I do. You could do it on a larger scale then me and make a lot more money. I got 600 dollars my first summer and I only cut lawn for 4 people. If you put your number on telephone polls, people will call and you can get your own little business running. Or if youd rather stay insides, just apply at fast food or grocery stores.
you're in grade 11, and you've never heard of something called a job? wow, no offence but you sound like a loser. unless your parent's are super duper rich (which they probably are not, since if you needed $3000 they'd prob give it to you) i'm surprised that by grade 11 you're still unemployed. Go apply at a fast food resturaunt, or become a waiter. Waiters get decent pay and the tips are great, but the job isn't near as easy as it seems. you can cut grass during hte summer, decent money. but you can't really put that on any other applications when you go to apply for work after finishing college. good to have past working experience.
well i am rich but not that rich my parents wont give me the money and i like that way because i want to earn it myself i had a job but i quit i worked in a fastfood restaurant last year and got 50bucks a day made up around 1k of that but anyways i am still looking for a job or so and plus i live in palo alto, california and i can do alot of things here but i dont have that much time to find stuff i will be looking forward to this thread and yes i can drive just dont have insurance and a car that i can drive in and i am getting my insuranceand a car probaly my next birthday and i am drug/smoke/alcohal free i dont take anyof those From what i have heard and i know i would say yes to all those questions -zain
Just go back to work at a fast food restaraunt, or a real restaraunt. it's hard to find a high paying job untill gr. 12. so unless you have hook ups that can give you a well paying job, might as well just go for a fast food/waiter job. personally, i'm working in a salvage yard this summer because my mothers friends husband owns the place. i think i'm going to be getting $12 or something like that per hour, pretty decent considering i am gonna work full time and 5 days a week.
movie theatre, cart pusher or one of the baggers at a grocery store. Dont ever go to fast food, pay sucks, its fast paced, managers are often bitches, you have to multi-task way too much and its just 100% not worth it.
