Making Forum Icon..

    ok. im making a forum icon... and it is a weird shape.. how do i get it so i dont see the white background? I saved it as a .png and it still showed an ulgy background, i put a transparent background and saved as .jpeg and it has a white background on the forum..

    png's dont show in IE, use them in Firefox then you dont see anything

    Yes. PNGs are using Alpha-transparency, which the older versions of IE doesn't support.

    I suggest trying Firefox or Opera.

    When you put it on a transparant bg you gottasave as png or gif, if you just save as jpg it will automatically generate a white bg.
