Make Most Preograms Load Faster!

Okay this is a tutorial on how to make most programs load faster then they normally would. First right click the shortcut of the program you want to load faster and select properties.



Then once in the properties section click into the target box.



Then press the spacebar once and type "/prefetch:1". If the target program is in quotes put it after the quotes.



Open up the program then once it loads up close out of it and load it up again. You should now notice an improvement in the program load time.

 

There is a registry edit to do it for every program. I will see if I can find it.

 

yes, and it slows down your computer, because it saves it in memory...

 

Yea^ but what if you cleared your prefetch every other day?

just an idea..never tried it...
