Hey guys, i just started to work with MacromediaFlash.
But theres one problem, when i open up a new movie clip (Insert > New symbol) and create some animation on it and then press ''Ctrl + Enter'' to preview my animation...but i see nothing! just a white background.
But when i create a graphic file (Insert > New Symbol) and create some animation on it and then press ''Ctrl + Enter'' for preview, it works! o_O

So, previewing ''Graphics'' works just fine.
previewing ''Movie clip'' just don't work. :(

Could some skilled flash user help me out?

make sure your not double clicked in the movie clip itself, alothough I think it would still play. Make sure you don't have and actionscripts stopping your playhead. If that doesn't work try exporting a swf. let me know what you do or if/and when you get it workin, I got a flash book handy. It's been awhile, you might have to call an action to play a movie clip..........I'll check more into it tomorrow, I gotta get some sleep........

sorry for the triple post..........

make sure you are starting the test from the very first frame and not half way through where there is nothing to be previewed. You could also try not using the shortcut and going to control > play or control > test movie
