well every mac is technically a PC clone now(runs x86 hardware, compatible with standard software) so I think your question is missuited. your question is what runs games better windows or OSX. windows is by far the better performer, in some cases by as much as 10 fold. windows has better 3rd party support, games are made for windows and then ported over to OSX. driver development is prioritized towards windows and as a result drivers for OSX are much lagging OSX lacks direct X. as for Apple's PCs. they're overpriced for what they are as far as hardware goes and few include decent graphics cards, ESPECIALLY THE iMACs WHICH ARE PROPRIETARY AND ARE INCAPABLE OF TAKING 3rd PARTY GRAPHICS CARDS. so basically if you're a gamer, apple is NOT the way to go unless you're planning on spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and are willing to get down and dirty and install your own graphics card(and cofigure OSX to recognize and use it properly), install windows on the system and fully configure that.
