they are just using dual core pentium Ms(likely to be called PVs or P5s) they really aren't that great. Reviews place the 2.0GHZ dual core PM with 2*1mb cache just barely below the athlon x2 3800+ in performance, though significantly ahead as compared to the pentium Ds. What i fel is sad is that Apple claimed more powerful processors than AMD, yet they are switching to Intel and will have slightly lesser processors(though more heat/power efficient) all I know is they better be priced right and not made out as some big deal, like you did. EDIT: I personally hope, that apple migrates to PC compatable platforms, so I can toss it into my vista comp(will be finished in mid-late 06 and will have either a P5 or an athlon x2/opertron 2GB ram and a 7800GT) and run dual boot windows/mac.
