How is it harder when there's more scoring going on? Trust me, it's not harder. What you describe as shooting a ball into a net is easy. The reality is that most of this doesn't happen. Long range shots barely ever go in because they're hard to control, especially a laces shot. There are defenders and midfielders who will defend and block and do anything to prevent you from scoring. You can't just jump higher than someone and make a point, you have to be tactical and aware of your surroundings. Not only that but you can be in a wrong position and fall victim to an offside trap. Then there's the goalie who is usually favored to block and hold most attempts. Yeah, the net is big but the precision and concentration require to place a shot in the upper 90's is nearly impossible and almost never happens. So no, basketball is not harder whatsoever. Moron.
Let's review the facts - The majority of people who play basketball are African American, and statistics show that they are stupid. The majority of footballers are European males who are, by statistics, good looking and clever and smart and good at everything. Oh yeah, and ONE COUNTRY in the world enjoys basketball, while the rest of the countries in the world enjoy football.

It's basic probability, you have a much better chance of getting a ball to hit a larger target, also it's easier to shoot straight in, rather then up and in. Basic math, bro, you can't beat it. I've seen them. They aren't exciting, the fans are ridiculously stupid, always breaking something. It's comical to me that you'd call basketball a black person's sport, and call them apes, when they don't break the stadium when they play basketball, they don't spit on people, maybe there will be one incident per year or two. As I've said, I've played a good bit of soccer, 9-12th grade varsity, also 6th-8th JR Varsity. I played it to STAY in shape for basketball, not to "get into shape". Because, I didn't run anymore in soccer then I did in basketball.
1. football is a way more spectacular sport than basketball 2. football is harder.. for the reasons: 1. The field is bigger which results in to more running which you need a better condition for. 2.
