dave does his fair share, i take it your not used to being apart of communities where the only way to make any form of staff position is sucking up to the admin? you could be the most active, non spammer on the boards, constantly referring people to FAQs, constantly pointing everyone in the right direction and helping and not getting the least bit of gratitude from anyone but the regular members. ive PMed dave just about as much as I have llama and both have been equally as helpful.
Although Dave is my buddy he wasn't the reason why Gr became popular he came as a relief for Joe so he could take a break from doing all the work and your wrong not anyone can create a site and it get popular i mean look how many sites are around doing GFX trying to get big...or basic other sites its not happening for them...so what do they do come back to GR becuase they know thats were the members are at.
i dont come for the members, most forums members irritate me reguardless, i come back for the content and design (yes, if i dont like a sites skin i wont visit it). In gamerenders case it supplies alot of renders and a few really cool/intellegent people, but your normally can find those people at other forums, namely private forums (yes, im a member of a few, not under my name and not under my signatures, and nothing common around here, most of them are large piece private communities).
We must be two different people i come to this site for the members because alot of them are my friends and also i've always been able to call Llama a good friend. GR was a community based forum in my head the designs were extra for me. I care more about the members and getting to know them and joke around with them and have a good time. I've been on this site for a while now and its been alot of fun and I will stay now becuase I have friends on this site
