    let me tell you something, I spent a whole day trying to install linux on a old computer (AMDK6233Mhz, 128RAM) LFS, SuSe, Fedora, Knoppix(yes its possible to install), with no success.
    two hours installed windows.

    So what, just means you're inexperienced. Linux is as straightforward to install as Windows is.

    also, cureent versions of linux don't work well on older computers. look at the system requirements. It's so easy if you only read.

    if you could help me finding one that will work on a AMDK6 233mhz 128/256RAM 1.2GB HD I would appreciate, preferably that only occupies about 300mb, since the computer will be a home server, so i need space for ssh server, and some file storage(not much), doesnt need graphic interface, only compilers and base system, etc.
