recently got fedora 3 running dual on my comp with xp....

    dearly in love with it...

i made the switch to linux after various live cd's, and the local computer repair shop, on account of me hanging artound to much.

after a coulple of failed installations, XP screwed up on a sp2 installation (my own fault)

so after running Active Killdisk(GREAT PROG) I THOUGHT, HEY, LINUX, WHY NOT?

so after the smooth (and quick) install, i was booted into a glorious Gnome enviroment.

i got my fedora distro with my newly aquired linux bible (xmas) and was loving every page of it.

after a few days, i realized i HAD to have windows back for various things, counterstike (xmas), UT2004, and photosohop!

using the wonderful partioner fedora came with (100% better than partiton magic), i was looking at the LILO boot screen (maybe grub, i cant remember now), and succsesfully booted into XP....

i boot linux when i go to school, because i run a small ut2004 and counterstrike server for some friends in chicago that have no life :P...

so please list your linux exspiernces, first times for us all to enjoy!

I had red hat linux way back, it was crap :x
I've heard good things about linux though, might get it sometime later or just get it on my laptop to see how it is. Won't put it on my desktop PC since I don't have much use for it and I use my PC for gaming :P

    ^as does any linux distro.

And yes, Fedora Code 4 is soaring high... it kicked my 700mhz computer up quite a bit...
