First off. This is not an' attack against the Forum, GR, LA, JayK, Staff or anyone. I'm simply highlighting whut I had perdicted and HOPE it gets through to someone and people finally realise the devotion and work LA-384 has put into the forum. Like I said, this would happen. I said I would leave the forum, which I had done, however - I kept an eye on it for the past 2 weeks to see how it was going along. And what I said to a few Moderators and other people has come true an' I think its about time everyone else see's things a little more "fairly". No I didn't delibertly only pick one thread of JayK's, this was the only thread I could find after 3 pages of looking. Now, over the 2 weeks, LA's caught around 5 rippers, editted/moved/locked 100 threads and reported these rippers. JayK's caught 0 Rippers, editted/moved/locked around 20 threads, an' hasn't even been active much this week. However, whuts the problem you ask? Well, LA is only a Render Moderator. Other than being able to modify threads, he can't do much else - he has to contact JayK to ban, suspend/warn people who deserve it. (Thats not too hard/weird... Is it?). Well, it is. Why? Because, I find it extremely unfair that LA is going around doing most of the work on the forum, catching rippers, locking threads & helping people out while JayK is just lazing around not doing much - yet somehow, JayK has more power than LA. WAIT. Its not that LA wants power, (LA doesn't even know I'm doing this), but its that LA deserves the power. Think to yourself. Would you find it fair if you did all the work in a science project, and in the end, you had to give it to someone else so they could present it? Its pretty much taking all the credit. Wait, there's more. JayK isn't as online as LA - and this makes things tiresome, confusing and time-consuming. How? Becuz each time LA needs someone warned, suspended or banned he has to contact JayK so he can do it. Often having to wait for hours, if not a whole day. Although LA isn't on THAT much during the weekdays due to school, he still manages to clean some threads and edit stuff - however at times he can be offline for a day or two, which leads to GR becoming messed up. LA wasn't very active on Wednesday + Thursday, and part of Friday. When he returns Saturday morning. Whut does he find? A bunch of messed up threads, which JayK has failed to edit, move or even lock. Yet............ For some reason, HE is The Sectional Moderator. Can someone tell me, whut the job of a Sectional Moderator is? Cuz I think either someone's not doing their job fully, or I'm failing to understand whuts actually going on. The 3/4 weeks LA has been Mod he has done more work the JayK has done in the last month. He's done more work than Dan and Shneaky did. Wait for it! Here's the best part of all. He's been able to SINGLE HANDEDLY (NO HELP FROM ANY OTHER STAFF MEMBER) been able to FINALLY brought down the "Reputation" asking problem which has been haunting the render forum for quite some time. Not even I could do that. He has single handedly proved he is more than capable enough of doing anything and will do everything to make sure this forum keeps going on smoothly without problems. But. I doubt he'll be able to keep this up with the way things are working right now. Nobody really helping him, having to contact other Moderator's to get people banned/suspended/warned and in general having to do a lot of the forums work and not be rewarded fairly for it. I'm not asking JayK be demoded (I understand he may be busy or unable to be online much due to personal problems), or the introduction of new Moderators. I'm highlight that, if he was promoted to Sectional Moderator or Global Moderator he would be able to do MUCH more work, even more effectively and save a lot of time in doing so. I really doubt ANYONE on the forum can say LA hasn't proven to be a good Moderator, cuz in my opinion, he's the best Render Moderator there ever will be, and even the best Moderator GR has ever had in general. Not many people can say they've devoted their weekend to editting threads, enforcing rules and chasing up rippers, spammers and rule breakers without ever complaining or wanting something in return. Take a look at the Render Section, you'll find that almost any/every thread that is incorrectly posted (breaking a rule) LA has found, editted and contacted the person about it asking/telling them what to do in future so it would be easier for them. I perdicted that this would happen, I told people and recommended LA be promoted to Render Mod as he'd be the perfect person for the job - and now I'm teling everyone that he would be the perfect person for Sectional/Global Mod. He would and will help out JayK, remain active, loyal and helpful to the forum members as he has already proved. Their is no HARM in promoting him, the only harm would be not promoting him. LA-384, isn't asking for a Promotion. But, I he deserves a promotion. He's proved to be hard working, loyal and helpful to the GR Community and I think its time he is able to take his Moderating Skills/Powers further as I know he will be a good Sectional/Global Moderator (No he does not JUST visit the Render Forum, he's active on many of the other forums too). Trust me, he will not let GR nor its members down. I can almost guarantee every if not most, members would agree with me that LA has proved to be a great Moderator and deserves a promotion so he can take his Moderatoring to the next step and be more helpful: This is not a perdiction, it is a fact. Now, please - be sensible. I don't want any flamming or "OMG KAZ YOUR BACK" cuz I'm not. Just highlight your views/opinion on this issue and thats it. Don't name call or swear. Final Note: If a Moderator decides to lock or move this to the Archives section, atleast TAKE NOTE of what I have said, its only to benefit GR. Thankooo for reading. - Tam.
Although I think LA is doing a great job, it was definately wrong of you to specifically attack JayK. Have you ever thought people may have lives outside of GR? Edit: Ek, he was basically saying LA should be promoted to sectional/global mod, and saying JayK was doing a bad job as a mod.

Wow, yes LA is definately doing a great job. Not sure about JayK, I've only seen him in tutorials and the marketplace. Never even knew JayK was a mod actually. And I agree with you that LA deserves a promotion.
of course LA is doing a great job. maybe jayK had someonething to do this week? or has an outside life?

Thread closed. Kazuya, please remember that some people are not as obsessed with "forum power" as you. I really don't see why you have created a whole essay on why you think you are right over something that may not even make that much difference to LA or JayK. If either of them feel strongly on this issue then they can talk to me - you don't need to intervene.
Thanks kaz, and i thought we were mates, First up, this isn't in the right forum - nor should it be in any forum. this subject is something that should be discussed through pm with a gmod or admin. I mave put my ass out for you too many times, and this is how you repay me? By saying i do a bad job and LA deserves it alot more than me. I have helped you too much, i stuck up for you even when you were being self centered and immature, allthough even i knew you were in the wrong, i have had several -reps removed for you and LIED in your defence to help you at times. Well, in my defence i have been doing work around the render forums, wheather you notice it or not it is there, i also answer questions - sort other issues out and lock topics in problems and suggestions, remember, i am a SECTIONAL moderator, i am not limited just to the render sections even though that is were i was promoted from. I have had exams all week, i have been overloaded with corcework and have recently finished 57 pages of ICT corcework, a full website and working database. Oh and you know damn right how hard my school is, for everyone who doesn't i start school at 8:30am and finish at 6pm then i have to go home, eat my dinner, on top of having a social life that doesn't leave me much time to get things done around the forum, allthough i still DO. Yes, i agree LA has done a good job and got alot of things done, which has helped me out alot and i thank him for that. I also think, yes - render moderators should be given acess to the warn pannel. This whole personal attack on me was totally uncalled for, i have done too much for you, i even attempted to get your render moderator job back for you when you decided you had made a mistake. It looks like your unable to maintain a friendship, have fun insulting me with LA.
