Hey does anyone here know a website where you can type in a license plate and view the owner of the plate WITHOUT registering to anything where you have to pay? I really need help some idiot just hit my car and I got his plate number but the cop kept askin me if I left anything out and keeps doubting me but I'm positive it's it and I want to see who the guy is. Thanks

The only way to check it is to let the cops handle the situation. You have the license plate number of the car, give the police some time, if they dont do anything, contact a lawyer. Give your lawyer the information and take legal action against the guy who hit your car.

If you find out where he lives and take action, you could also be liable for any action you take. Do it the right way and get your car fixed or replaced.

just take a few pics of the dammage and get a lawyer and give im the numbers, then he will contact some people and find out who he is and his inserance, then your lawyer wil do rest depends on what the situation was he could have to pay for all the damage done to your vehicle

im not 100 % sure, but i even think, that if you give the police the number and they dont do anything, you could even take leagal actions against them. but im not 100% sure

If you are willing to go to cout for this, why not pay a few dollars to find out who the hell he is? Stop being greedy.

I'm sure police will get it done but with a little patience. Or else get you lawyer and I'm sure everything will straighten up.

By the way, this sounds like off-topic since this thread isn't discussing anything.

The best suggest made is right in front of you, no point taking action yourself, like HydrogeN said...You'll be liable for any other action you take.

    Good luck mate. ;)

Yeh best to get a lawyer to be on the safe side, contact the pigs a few times if they dont do anything the first time, and show them pictures of your damaged car so they have a reason to look in their database and give you the information
