I think if credit system was gonna half of the people would leave and the forum would be a mess. We should just charge of everything they do. Pm is a good idea.

People are getting obsessive about these, maybe if you get 5 credits a day, and not each time you post, but you still get credits when you selll tuts etc.

Meh, i dunno, but we shouldnt get rid of the system, thats what make gr such a good site, because its different!

But half of the member would leave and it would be better for other forums. Have to think about this.

I say Charge for entering Sig of the week is a really cool idea. Like charge 15 cred's to enter. Because anyone can enter that has over 100 posts. Might as well charge.

I don't think taking away credits will be a good idea. People will have fits over that. Charging credits for shops and the other things listed sounds like the way to go in my opinion. I think people would understand that better.

I would be ticked off if they took away 50% of my credits cause I payed money for mine but I highly doubt that I would leave but I some of you would.

    'replying to page 6'

Ok so your saying that i wont be loseing any of my credits, they will just be compact, are you stupid?

I have 4000 credits which i have earned, i have sold ALOT of MY stuff to get these. Now like ive said, i do NOT sell my credits for real money, i buy psd's/tutorials/give credits to the newer members, buy them things that they need etc. Now people are going on about how it isnt fair for the 'newer members' of the forum, well if there was more people like me who are WILLING to help these guys out, we wouldnt have this problem. I have given ALOT of the newer members my tutorials because they havent been able to afford them.

Now back to what i was saying on like page 5....

I have 1000 credits because they took 3000 away from me.

There is a couple of things i want from the auction, ok?

I can only buy 25 things from there with 1000 credits, whereas...

I can buy 100 things with my 4000 credits. (Just an example)

Now which would i prefer?? hmm...

Ugh, by removing a large percent of everyones credits your ammount changes, yes but so does the worth of everything.Prices will change so they will be buyable but I think 90% is too steep of an ammount to remove.I say like 50% if you decide to do that.

I suggest, swats lottery idea where he said the winner gets half the pot and the excess is removed. If there is mass participation credits will decrease quickly.Charginf for shops seems like a great idea to me but charging high ammounts for auctions seems like it would cause people to just hold out on selling stuff.A sort of tax on transactions seems nice aswell, like 5-10% of the credits send is removed.

I think most of those ideas are really bad. The only good ideas I think are adding more items in the shop and having to pay to hold a shop.

By taking away peoples credits, \in any way, you are just creating more demand for them, which may in turn raise prices everywhere... and more desperate attempts at gaining credits... ppl actualy trying to sell "orbs" that u can maake in 20 sec with a tut, for like 50...

You sat down in front of your computer, I wouldn't go as far as "worked hard"

I think reducing everyones creds is a good idea, it will really reduce the number of creds out there. I think its a good idea.
