    lol j/k.

i dont care really its only silly internet money and if u wanna take it off cos its llama's site then he can do that.

i dont think a few leaving members would matter cos there is 50000+ and that aint gonna make a dent in it

I buy cred for $$$, I have loads of creds...I agree with this compacting idea...it keeps the value, just remember you need customers to buy stuff for expensive prices to actually make money, if we compact them by 10 (1000=100) no one would buy a 1000cred tut, instead they would be forced to increase prices....

Charge a small amount for auctions (or charge at least for reserves bftp seemed to hate this idea)
charge a requring fee for shops

i would say about 500,000 of the creds here are owned by about 50-100 members here, and thats not good. Lynx u said 50,000 members. yes but how many of them are active no where near that many

That's what I've been thinking the whole time. If people are threatening to leave because of some e-money on a website, then you know they're not here for the community aspect of it.

The way that GR pulls off its credit system is great because most other websites that try to use the credit system do it horrid.

There are better graphics communities than GR, but most of them are for the great graphics artists and are not for the people that are not good but want to get better. The credit aspect of GR gives people an incentive to make tutorials because they can turn around and sell the credits for real money. This is good because you dont have to be good at graphics to get credits, so even newbies can get great tutorials.

Hell, im here for the community aspect of GR, it just would not be as good without the credits, the most heavily gone to forums would have to be the auction room, offers and requests and the shops section, so it would just completely take out which would make people leave.

I like credits because you can get things (like forum hosting etc) for free that you would normally have to pay for!

I think it would be funny if you removed half of everyones creds then turned of the credit system for 2 weeks and tell people the cred system was gone lol!

Just for the record all credits arn't being removed, they arn't going to vanish, just be reduced or compacted..credits increase spam, need to invent another way of getting them

Joke week.... a set of items being available in the shop that allows us to play around with stuff of other members...such as sig space, username etc...should allow for alot of fun and loads of cred burning......

Playing with other members settings would lead to tons of abuses :\ I don't see that happening. What do people think of the GR Lottery idea i posted somewhere on page 3 of this topic :)
