People wouldn't bite though, if they started pricing them really high.

Supply and demand. Basic economics. People will be less likely to buy things that are high priced, so prices will go down.

I'm not a fan of removing a percentage of creds from everyone, but it wouldn't be as disastrous as it seems people think it will.

THANK YOU ;) Finally someone who sees what I'm saying ;)

It's not like ONLY you will lose credits, everyone does so it dosn't effect much but the number.

But do you think if you charge, lets say, 200 for a .psd pack will be good then? No. Why? Because its ----ing stupid to charge 200 credits thats the same as $10.

    No offence

If your paying 2000 creds for a PSD pack it's $10. If before the cut the psd pack costs 200, then after it'll cost 20.

EDITED to make it more clear.

You just said something i think was stupid.

    Now:

A .psd pack ISNT selling for 2000 credits, so why do you bring that up? It usually costs 200. Right?

    But...

    After the cut:

A .psd pack will cost 200 credits still. Most likely. But no one will buy. Why?
Cause its stupid to buy that if you have it, when you can make an own fortune by selling it. Still ppl wont buy that. Cuz its just plain dumb.

No, I'm saying that if a PSD pack costs 200 now then after it'll cost 20.

No. Ppl wont charge that. They will still charge 200, cuz they will think: "Hey, i can make a ----ing living out of this. Ill quit my job and start selling .psd to get credits to sell reeeal expensive."
See where the whole convo is going?

Except, as I said, people would not price that high if they saw they weren't selling. It's simple.

And *sigh* my suggestions have been seemingly ignored....oh well. Hopefully a mod or admin will see them.

Then noone will buy the pack until they lower thier price. People who don't lower thier prices wont sell and people who do will sell. When they realise thier going to have to loew then they will and it'll work :D

But still, when all of a sudden the most of the credits come back, ppl will charge more and more for their packs. So, actually, this is the stupidest thing i have ever seen in my life.
Even if we do this, fine everyone and all, we will still be at this situation sometime, and the purpose of doing it, is completely ruined. THATS why i think this is soo god damn... *censored for kids*

In the world war after germany lost, they were fined by serveral countrys for damages...alot of money.
Ofc they had an amazing idea, they could make more money to pay off there new found debts so they did.
Emergency inflation occured, instead of some bread costing 1Dm it would cost 1000dm, people were having to take there wages (cash in those days) home in wheelbarrows.
    Figures below

    Jan 1923
    2,785.0

    July 1923
    194,000.0

    Nov 1923
    726,000,000,000.0

This hyper inflation made the dm worthless, bread would cost you what a year ago you could buy a house for....

What gr is doing is hyper deflation of a sort, it keeps the value of all the items its just a lower value
    1dm (jan) = 200,000,000,000dm(nov)
    1000creds (march) = 100creds (april)

those 100 creds will still buy me a loaf of bread that the 100 creds did, or a 1000 fr tuts now costing 100...

    welcome to real world inflation

    :P Daz

What about doing somehting like people can get a rating on each post/topic and if they get a good rating then thier awarded a few credits?

So if someone makes a nice prem tutorial they'll get rewarded creds but if someone just makes a random 2 word post they wont.

Then someoen whos already got them can keep them but have to earn more by making good posts...
