Most rappers talk about sex drugs and murder is because it appeals to the masses=a bunch of idiots who can't understand real hip hop. All geners have certain themes that the music is about because that certain theme might produce alot of money for the companies, it's not just rap. R&B talks about having sex(making love) Rock talks about people whos girlfriends left them and now they want to commit suicide or hurt someone or being a "rebel"(i'm sorry, it's because of most of the stuff I've heard) Country - I dunno Metal: Making a bunch of noise(once again, most I've heard)
