i agree about country...some of it has a legit message (the newer stuff?), but your a conferderate so i dont lol
Actually the older stuff has more of a message than the newer country, especially that crappy country that has pop in it like Rascal Flatts. I don't know what you mean by that last line so I'm not going to try to respond to it.
well that goes in the section of emo/punk/etc Merged Post: lol cir!t!cal..youve been watching this convo for like hours and you havent said a word
Maybe he's away from his computer..? Edit: Who would've guessed, its been 57 minutes since he last refreshed this page.
Screaming music probably requires the most skill to do out of all the music genres. Have you ever tried screaming like those bands do? Just putting it out there that on a talent based level, hxc/death metal/screamo is up there. Dont bash me though I listen to almost everything everything, metal, rock, hip hop, rap, punk, etc.
well im sure its not hard once youve killed your vocal chords one hundred times..its one thing to do try learning to play an instrument then come back to me and tell me screaming is hard.....i mean some bands have not very talented instrument players...but when it comes to jazz and much more complicated stuff, nothing can compare
I turn on a local country station and the first words out of my mouth are 'that s**t's just plain f**king depressing.' 'Oh, ma, my beer's gone and my truck's broke and my wife left me because I didn't do anything, woe is f**king me.' Hence the suicide music/hangover music. The rest is just common stereotype.
My Chemical I've-got-a-pine-tree-stuffed-up-my-ass-mance has the 'hardcore,' 'post hardcore,' 'emo,' and (at least they're trying to pass themselves off as...) 'metal,' according to most fans you ask. Hence the label. Don't like it? Terrible. As for the Parkway kids, come whatever may. I'd videotape it, even, if I didn't realize that some fat kid that gets mistaken for a chick (both by his hair and his tits) would either step on the camera, eat the camera, or take the camera and use it to film YouTube blogs. I carry a knife around because I like to stab people everywhere I go. All day. Every day. All year. Every year (except on New Year's, Easter, and Christmas -- all else is fair game).
No, it's not hard once you know how to do it. You might harm yourself when doing it, and may not be able to talk normally for like a week if you do so. I heard a lead singer of a band --I think it was Alesana, makes their concerts with one week in between them, because he can't talk or sing, or even scream after a show. And hardcore/post-hardcore also has a lot of complicated stuff. Guitar 1 (0:05) E|-----------------0------------------------------------------------| B|-----------------4------------------------------------------------| G|--------------------------------v^v^-------------------v^v^--| D|----------------------------7-7-7777--------------------0000--| A|----------------------------8-8-8888--------------------0000--| D|--00-3h5-0-8h10-----5/10p0------------3-0--3p0-2--0000--| . . . .... ^^ Intro of a song by underoath. Not really something that you would call 'complicated', because there are bands that have this, but even harder. ferret; HA. my chemical romance is pop-punk. enough said. not hardcore, not screamo. pop-punk.
