but the 40fps doesnt depend on your moniter.your moniter depends in ms. for examaple you get ghosting form any moniter above 16 ms. so your safer to go for a 8ms and below. but it all depends on what you are going to use it for. if for example css then you will need 8ms. but no games a 26 would suit fine.
but your fps depends on cpu, ram and gpu performance combined
    hope this helps

ok, i got a $100 check from my moms friend for fixing her computer that took over 3 days...

    new playing field.

go to newegg or any other site that ships in the us, find a 17" LCd flat pannel monitor, with acceptable ms (fps). I need it to be no higher than $190-200.

I do not want or need speakers.

I don't do much gaming, but I am going to be playing BF2 soon...

If any of you can find a DVI -> VGA converter for cheap. I want to dual monitor my other computer that has a 5500 with DVI/SVideo/VGA ports.

but still... who would ever need that much shyt? double screen is normal, triple screening, ok, if you were a programmer, or web designer, and need the space, sure. but 4+ screens is just wrong...
