ow yeah , a few more . . . not in order but just a few in the very beginning of GR , the tutorial of that movie in your sig was extremely populair so that was also a big trend then the user title bars like : i am a photoshop 7 user . . . like who cares what you use ? yeah the Advent Children period we also had and some still using but less then before the photomanips are also very much in use lately and also the trend i remember was that everyone had to be in a club or clan. We had the Demi-Godz who you obviously could consider as 'the elite of GR' but not its nothing more then a fancy avatar . . . other clan names i can't remember now ill sure to add more if i can remember

I think it's good to get your inspiration from other sig makers only give your own twist 2 it. and make up things yourselves 2. But anyways that was my reaction 2 you now comes my reaction to this topic in particular --------------------------------------------------- Trends are there because they are cool. i mean everybody liked the alien league font. and everybody like the white glow. only there is a difference in trendwhores and trend followers. a trendwhore just takes on every trend there is(and they are right about that in some way cause it's cool) but... a trendfollower is one that tries a trend. if he likes it then he uses it in many sigs and not only when it is a trend. and the trendfollower tries to give it his own swirl his own piece of imagination. so my personal opinion is that trends are cool and you can follow them(there they are trends for) but i think you have to give it your own twist. for example: Here i gave my own twist to the movie borders And i did photomanips but not sigs i liked the big versions and for example: PixelStretching blended into the background

Everything is a trend, cause some1 somewhere else is doing it to, always. no matter what you do your not being original. maybe original on that site or those few sitse but no ones original, everyone is doing a trend.
