OK well, Hoplite, if you see this, I took some of your advice from my last post. I can tell you, my picture, in my opinion, looks sooooooo much better then the last one. I would like to thank you, and if I had 150 posts, I would give you all the rep in the world lol here it is

The text never follows the image, but for now I dont want it to. im working on other things to improve lol

So basically again. I used the blue from his belt to make the BG color this time. I put 1 render on, and smudged it. I tried doing the parts the way they were going (sword got smudged down back arm got smudged up, legs down, arm to the right and down). I added a C4D (still dont have any good effect ones) and smudged a bit of the edges. Uncovered the last render, did some smudging to the other layer because something didnt look right, added my name and there it is.

    CnC plz

(and how do you add a border?)

im not to sure what u ve done it seems like u ve got the backgorun andf then put a pic on top and added the text. Okay i think u need to blend the image in a lil coz it jus looks way to odd at the moment, I dont knw maybe some smudge and blur here and there and some gradients or sumthing. The text keep the font simple and the red does not work try sumthing else.

There are some good effect render packs in the Resources section of this site.

Anyway, it looks like you're improving a bit, but there still could be some stuff that could be worked on.

You should first learn to blend your subject before anything else.

Smudging, distorting, displacing, and brushing/painting are things you should start practicing.

They are pretty easy to learn all you do is experiment with settings on the brush and strengths, etc.

The colors are much, much better. ;)
The composition is still lacking a bit though.
Like the above said, work on blending first and foremost. ;)
Look at a lot of tuts. They will help you learn how to "blend" your
    image better. ;)

    I mean it.
That's the easiest way to learn how. I can't really explain it without
pictures and stuff very well, or I'd basically post a tut. lol :D

Work on blending stuff. Distorts of different types, smudging displacing.
Look up tuts on DeviantART.com they have LOTS. I mean butt-loads bro. ^_^

But, yes, you did improve from your last one. I want to see you learn a lot
    and get really good. ^_^

Tuts, tuts and more tuts bro. ;)
