    It's almost completed and ready to be tested.The idea is to make particles collide and to do further research into the Huygens-particle.
    Which, I think, would gives us more information about black holes and related subjects.

    So this little thingie here would create "Higgs Boson", the only not yet observed particle that is part of the Standard Model of particle physics (which has 4). This would further explain how it is possible that elementary particles (massless) can acquire mass.




    And if all of this doesn't interest you at all, just look at the pretty colours (useful for artworks, no?) :P

    And yes, there is a chance this thing could actually go bad. Not that it would kill on a large scale but it could certainly cause a lot of damage if not properly contained.

    one of my brother's college roomates was going to be working with that at some point in the future if i remember correctly. talking about that thing for too long can lead to some trippy discussions though lol. pics of it are cool as hell

    Why did I think the title of the thread was "Large Hard on"

    Anyway :lol: I really feel that this could all end badly. They really should have second thoughts before using that thing, if 1 little thing messes up, the world is going to be ------ed.

    It's not going to make black holes.

    We aren't even sure if black holes exist yet.
