i heard about a program that can make your internet connection into a lan network or sumthing? so you can play like lan videogames with ppl who live far away, as opposed to playing from with an internet connection, anyone have any idea what program they were talking bout? if so, name + link please
Dont exactly know what youre talking about but you can host a server on your computer but Im speaking pretty briefly.
It is called Hamachi. My friends and I use it. It works well for playing games but transering files take an extremely long time. EDIT: Here.
i think it's hamachi but now that i have it, i tried it and my friend and i can't play because he has a yellow light. i turned off all firewalss and portforwareded+magic option but it still doesn't work . he did the same too. any1 know how to fix it?> thanks
ya they are both tunneling applications, xlink is commonly used for xbox as well as xbconnect and I've never used "hamachi" but I it sounds liek a similiar tunneling application for pc
in hamachi a yellow light means like connected but like not complete connection. green light is like full. its kinda like bittorent programs i guess. like if it's yellow i cna't chat w/ him and stuff but i can with green, basically yellow means we're onot really connecting and sumthings blocking it i think but i donno what. any1 who uses hamachi knnow how to solve it?
