Aside from being somewhat monochromatic what do you think is wrong with it?

 

I think the wrong thing is that you didn't include a tutorial for it ; D

Boring tag imo, and the effect doesn't fit too well with the sprite's action.

Without people being completely honest(not saying anyone else wasnt) noone ever gets any better. I respect that.

I like it. The effects are good and it's all great. I prefer version 1. Awesome work dude. 9/10

 

I know it's not symmetrical, but it gives me the feel of it if you kind of get my point..

Just a general rule of art is to not have a focal right smack dab in the middle. Just my style..

I love the colors on the last one though.

 

Like the sprite, it's just standing there, would have been better if you chose another one of him doing an attack.
