First off, stop bitching about people using photomanipulation in an abstract tag.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. And I'll say it again, the Design Crew is absolutely worthless as they have NO knowledge whatsoever about anything related to art. If you want some bull---- C4D render with cool colors anyone can dish it out, but when someone actually brings something that's decent, suddenly everyone bitches about it.

Go ahead and disqualify my entry. It makes no difference to me. I've already proved you all wrong, including logic.

By posting here and even bothering to attempt to prove them wrong you have already shown that you care.

i don't get how lots of people when it says abstract, it has to be C4D =/
abstract comes in lots of forms, just not c4d.

First of all, that's a bit too harsh on the Graphics Crew. They have to set some kind of standard, and they did.

Second, you're pissed because you have a good entry. Unfortunately, I'm going with the definition of abstract art for this one.
uses angles, lines, and geometric shapes to be completely non-objective, with no reference to nature whatsoever.art that emphasizes line, color, and form rather than recognizable subject matter

People (not only you) seem to get the impression that abstract means 'strange' or 'unfamiliar', which it does not.

It's not harsh, it's just the truth. The graphics crew besides Sky and Cliche don't know anything about graphics. Same goes for the moderators.

Did I say I didn't care? No. The word care isn't even in my post.

Guarantee I make more money designing than anyone on this site does in a year.

    Stop being stupid.

This site is full of entry level designers, the moderators, while not being at a point where they could sell their work and live off of the money, are far above entry level designers which is all that is necessary. Gamerenders always has been, and likely will remain, an entry level art site, if your too 'pro' to be a member of the site, leave. There are plenty of websites for more advanced designers to further improve their skills.

I guess my entry is not abstract due to it containing eggs.

It's funny how they always want us to think outside the "box" yet when someone does, "omg that tag is not fitting the theme." What happened to these themes being open to interpretation? Why limit what we make just so it can fit your definition of something abstract.

god this site just gets more pathetic every day.

edit: i'll give a bit more detailed response, but sticking to a majin size post.

Neurons entry is ------in' abstract, you're just morons that dont know ---- about art. Dem don't give me that ------in' bull---- "i make more money doing this" and having a constant ------ing idea you're better than every single ------ing human being. When Darren + Jay were here for New years, we had this discussion about who YOU are. We came to the conclusion, you're BFTP the 2nd. We think you're just some pathetic lad who still lives in his moms basement... well you do now aha. We never think you ever had a job, he just think you signed off IRC for 20mins, unplugged your router, plugged back in, BOOM NEW IP "HI GUIES IM AT WORK LULZ. IM DOIN NOTHING". As for web design. Your designs are horrid, poorly constructed, and overall just ----. You got lucky making money of these things, so you just instantly do what ever other person on this site did when they made loads of creds from selling tags. EGO IS NOW OVER 9000 THOUSAND. So yeah, ma mums getting scared and is telling me im moving with ma auntie n uncle n bel air.
    peace.

edit 2: i know im a failure dem, don't even try that ----. also ------ it im only gonna ever post in AF forums from now on. See ya GR.

i already pmed you my thoughts Neuron,

to make it public, I think you should chill the ------ out, and stop making things alot more dramatic for attention, if you think your knowledge in art is far superior then the "graphics crew" then leave GR, no one is stopping you. I can bet you that the members in the crew know something that you don't, they are just mature enough to not escalade things to such a pointless extent.

    Correction:
It's funny how they always want us to think outside the "box" yet when someone does, "omg that tag is not fitting the theme." What happened to these themes being open to interpretation? Why limit what we make just so it can fit THE definition of something abstract.

We only give you guys 1 requirement, that's it. If you said you want a cheese sandwich, and I gave you a ham sandwich, it's still good, but not what you asked for. And the fact that your entry has 'eggs' in it surprises me because I thought they were eyes, or an infinity sign, or whatever, as in, it's not definite. Neuron's, on the other hand, has a woman, and a tree. Not because I've deduced this, but because there's a woman and a tree. No abstraction. I guess this means you've created an abstract sig by accident, but yours is abstract. Whereas his is a woman and a tree (I'm guessing some kind of metaphor for Gaia perhaps)

And what, pray tell, do you want to teach us ignorant fools about graphics.

tbh, i still think Neurons is not abstract, abstract from most defenitions that i have seen is essentially this:
"Art, including painting, sculpture, and graphic art, that does not represent recognizable objects"
in Neurons case, although a nice design, is very clear to what it is portraying and can only be concieved in one way, a woman and a tree with etc around it.
