    Square-Enix has just officially announced the release date for Kingdom Hearts to be March 28th, 2006.

    The following is an excerpt from the official press release delivered by Square-Enix:

    Square Enix, Inc. (Square Enix), the publisher of Square Enix interactive entertainment products in North America, and Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company announced today the all-star voice cast and North American release date for KINGDOM HEARTS II, the highly-anticipated action role-playing game (RPG) exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. KINGDOM HEARTS II is the sequel to KINGDOM HEARTS, one of the top 10 best-selling PlayStation 2 titles of all time in North America.

    KINGDOM HEARTS II will ship to North American retailers on March 28, 2006. Since its release in September 2002, the original KINGDOM HEARTS for the PlayStation 2 has shipped more than 2.6 million units in North America. Bridging the gap between the original and the sequel, KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES followed in December 2004 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance system. With the release of the Japanese version of KINGDOM HEARTS II in December 2005 (1 million units shipped during only three days after the release date), the series has shipped in excess of 7.5 million units worldwide.

    YES!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!! I CAN'T FRICKIN WAIT!!!!! Definitely staying home from school that day! WOOOOO!

    good news, seems like a really good game. Really hope there's no delays though...

    I know. But now that Square-Enix has released the date there won't be any more delays :D

    i played kingdom hearts 1....i quit after the part where they meet squall...i think its boring

    OMG thats like the first level - You sure are missing something - Every game at the start is boring

    I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME - COMON SEnix COME TO UK :D :D :D

    Played KH1 I loved it so done everything and KH2 just looks brill ;)

    Haha DarkStar. And yes I am with you, I cannot wait for this game either. I did EVERYTHING you can do in the 1st game, secret ending, all ultimate weapons, every keyhole, puppy, level 100 on everyone, every secret boss =P. I'm happy that NA has a release date, wonder when it'll come out for you guys in UK. Hopefully soon :D

    I know. We should all get it the same IMO...not fair that Japan got it December 22nd. You guys got Smackdown Vs Raw 2006 1st though <_< =P

    it started getting hard at like the ending tho lol
    and i hatted how u cant skip the movies...

    Yeah that can get annoying SPOILERS IN THE 1ST GAME BELOW!!!!































    Yeah like when you are fighting Riku when he has Ansem inside him and you have to watch that 5 minute cutscene. Annoying...and then having to watch the Dragon Malifecent cutscene also...ugh...im playing it again during February break...waiting for the 2nd one to come out :D

    kinda true but i love everything about it so i like watching the CG seqences ;)
