Kill The Credits

Creds should stay.

The credit system lures much people to this forum and keeps them active. Sometimes active in the wrong way (spamming).
But still, it's a member magnet.

I'd say keep the creds and punish the spammers harder. Give them a warning and if they still continue to spam just take away their creds.

It probaly isn't possible for some members to lose the credit gaining ability huh? Cause that would be an awesome scare for all those credit spammers.

 

I suppose you could get rid of the credits, but wouldn't removing credits for posting do the same thing? Give them credits in the beggining, and they can use them on whatever. I don't know, and yes, my idea would bring in new problems, but I do not feel like posting those problems.

EDIT: you must also remember, people might not spam for the credits, but for the ability to view the premeuim renders section.

I like the creds its good, but it has it's down sides I agree. I wouldn't mind if it stays or goes I'm here to learn sigs and join a friendly community.

 

Amazing how long ago this problem surfaced. Thereby proving that credits have been a perpetual problem to GR, and should be removed.

Totally agree! Credits are pointless.. And Why post for credits? wtf are you going to do with them anyway..

 

if they get rid of credits, id probably leave. to me its a really dumb idea, people buy PSDs, Premium Memberships, Wesbites, Templates pretty much anything with creds. Barely anyone on this site is willing to pay real money.

 

i say dont loose the creds. maybe change something, but not loose them all together. maybe .5 creds per post?

 

Hey Gamerenders, I hope you guys arent actually thinking of getting rid of credits are you? I spent like 80 dollers buying premium memberships for people to get the credits that I have. Thats very unfair to the people that worked hard to earn there credits. Please dont remove them. The staff will just suffer alot of people will complain and most likly leave, thats prob what I would do. The credits system is a huge part of gamerenders and is what attracts alot of members because its fun. And if you remove credits its basicly removing the markerplace, which will take a huge blow to gamerenders and the majority of the members here will most likly leave. Please please keep credits, its why I love this place so much. Its alot of fun (the market place, auctions)

I cant believe you guys actually want to remove it, that mean no more martketplace no more auctions no more anything. You mide aswell delete rep system while you at it. Like come on? I really hope you guys are joking that you want it to be removed sure it causes some spam. But at every forum theres always going to be spam. People just have to deal with it, so I suggest you all just deal with it. Because Gamerenders will just suffer if they remove it alot of people will leave and complain and spam even more, if they do remove the credit system.

If we get rid of the creds i think it would ruin gr. Just because what would people buy sigs with? rep? money? Some people don't have money. So if we got rid of creds then people couldn't buy sigs. Then i think this forum would start dying. but thats my opinion. We need the creds! Just bust down on the spammers :lol:

 

Don't get rid of credits.

People come here to go mainly to the marketplace, and you would be taking away their fun.
