well we're doing a comic boook. i explained this before u joined. i think its on a couple of pages before this. let me find it. here ya go.... ok for the comic book, we're going to make it look like this. http://ecthelian.deviantart.com/art/Far-Away-PG01-78865498, or something close. 3 sigs minimum, and 5 sigs maximum, and one lp as the background. ps. try to make the lp not fill up the whole page, but make it similar (try to be original) as the one in the example. Ive already got a good cover for the comic book. We're going to make the theme around two personalities. Also we're going to widen up the field a bit this time, by allowing u guys to submit any superhero, it doesnt have to be from DC comics, it could be form marvel or anywhere else. Also plz do not use anime character, but i think we will allow that in the next comic book. Rules for Comic Book: *Only one person per a superhero* *State what superhero ur going to be doing in this thread* *you are responsible for doing ONE page* *BG colour for the page is Black* Size for the page: width-800, height-1200 Size for sigs: You can make ur own sizes, but keep in mind, u need to be able to see the LP in the bg, and try to fill up the space like the ones in the example. Text: Try to add outer text on the page, like the ones in the example. Story: Also try to make it so the sigs and LP follow some kind of story. **Whoever doesnt want to do it, doesnt have to but plz we need atleast 4 or 5 ppl to submit a page.** **This will most likely increase the activity of the crew, bring us all together as a crew, and bring more attention to us.** **The deadline for the comic book is Sunday, March 30, 2008. Kk ill start on it, i have one question, ever new page will be a new story or the whole comic book will be one story if so whats the story.?
well theres a theme, evil and good, either between a villain and a hero or just in the hero or a villain. but every page is a different story. and just to tell u im doing spidey.
Your comic idea is awesome. I am going to start drawing a page for it. I know I am not in JL and you don't need to put my page in, I am just doing it for fun because of your inspiration
ok just make sure nobody else chose it. lol. and ya brotherhood it doesnt matter at all if u do one. and if u do ill submit it in the comic. but it all needs to be done by march 30. also i was wondering if u guys can check out brotherhhods entry for the crew, and see if u would allow him in with only drawings and some sigs.
Drew up a quick prelim for mine. I am doing Hellboy just in case there is anyone else that hadn't picked yet. I will try to get it done by your deadline, if not I will finish it either way. If I do get it done by the 30th, it will most likely not be in color, just black and white.
I think this is gonna be my panel 1. Most likely will ink the black in Photoshop if I get the time. Also it will be in a box so the bottom part where it cuts off will be taken care of. Caption: "Let's make this quick" As for me doing the cover...Beowolf already did a really nice one and I honestly don't think I have the time to get out a full page and cover by the 30th.
