thx for all the feedback on the poster guys. and i will release more info on the comic soon. heres a tagwall i just made so go check that out. http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=370171
Yesterday I decided to go through the whole Justice League Crew, paying attention to the tags. I think that you guys are really skilled. You can manage to give a nice composition and overall good looking to a tag while using many different form of effects. Every designer we have is unique, which make us a really strong crew. But, I think we're missing something. While I was collabing when JL Chilled, we developed a special way to use the gradient tool. By using it, we can easily get some breath-taking colors, which is a way better for the overall compo and a way more original. Combined with the smudge tool, you can get pretty decent effects and build a whole tag over it. Some exemple of what can be done basing on that method : <div align="center"> </div> Also, our collab, my recents tags and his lastest too are kind of based on that way of art. Since I find that a really easy and good way to get colors, and since our recents tags are only lacking on breath-taking colors, I decided to give you a little idea of how using this colors. I made a quick tag, it tooks me 15 mins ^^, using that technique. I labeled the .psd and I also included some of the recent gradients I used. You'll clearly have a good idea of how we roll these days and Im pretty sure looking at it will help you. Here's the .psd and the tag's preview (it's not my best but it is basicly what I could have done with this gradient) : <div align="center"> http://rapidshare.com/files/95062184/gradient.psd.html</div> No layer ripping, you can wear it if you want (but I doubt it ^^), you have learning rights only. Hope you enjoy it !
