Just thought you guys should know someguy's taking tuts from here and post it elsewhere.

Should have been posted in Forums Problems section, but it looks like the person who posted it, Tiras, achnowledged that Gurly owns full rights to it, and it is from Gamerenders.
I suppose Gurly and the other G-Mods will handle it.
All the tutorials also link to iGO.

 

He gave credit, i'm sure there is no fuss

 

He still needs permission from the owner of the tutorial.

Full rights belong to the owner, so without permission the guy posted. That's an offense.

 

well, if they posted it free on gamerenders, then i dont see what the big deal is. but he should at least give full credit and mention the owners of the tut..we got this dumb thing in school for the copyright laws, and it states that if you give it out for free to the public, then they can use it as long as they give full credit to the owners. thats why i dont like posting my stuff free..about a month ago, i found someone using on of my signatures that i made last year...i was shocked, cause my sigs arent that great to rip off but w\e the problem is theyll handle it =]

 

It's not illegal, but it's not respectful and against the rules on GR.

It's called a Creative Communes Copyright, which allows someone to prevent redistribution of something as long as it is not used for money making purposes.
