Spiderman 2 is supposed to be pretty good. Depends what type of games you like though.

Hmmm... I have a PSP too, but I only have Untold Legends and RIdge Racer. Ridge Racer got boring and really REALLY repetative fast. Untold legends on the other hand is a bit more interesting. I'm planning on getting Need for Speed withing the next two weeks :D

Need for Speed U: Rivals is absolute and utter crap. That is the worst game for PSP so far, and I've played all of the American games.

    My recommendations:

+++Ridge Racer- Absolute blast to play. The drifting system has been enhanced since the previous games, and the addition of nitrous makes it a blast. By far one of the PSP's prettiest games so far. It's my favorite game. 9/10
++WipeOut Pure- The first game I bought with mine, it's great. Very nostalgic towards the old games if you were a fan (like me). Very fast paced racing, cool weapons, good soundtrack. 8.5/10
++Twisted Metal: Head-On- I've always been a huge TM fan, but the series pooped out since 2, with the exception of Black of course. This game is an absolute blast to play. I played this one more than anything for a long while, it just doesn't get old. 8/10
+Dynasty Warriors- Much like it's console counterparts, except not as pretty. I played this game a good bit, but then it had the same flaw as the PS2 iterations- ITS THE SAME THING ALL THE TIME. It's novelty wears off quickly. 6/10
+Spiderman 2- basically a stripped down version of the PS2 game, broken into linear levels rather than a big city. It's ok, I didn't play it more than enough to beat it. 6.5/10

It's really up to you which game to buy. I'm picking up ATV Offroad Fury tonight, which makes my collection up to 6 games. I'd ask around, especially if you know anyone with a PSP and a diverse collection of games.

Amen to that! It was crazy for Sony to not release the PSP as a standalone system, but from the games I played using my friend's PSP:

Lumines - This is by far THE game you have to get (and also weird how no one else reccomended it) this game is a puzzle game, which consists of stacking blocks, but the catch is that you need to wait for a sort of beam to go and take out all the blocks, so it's a race against time to rack up a high score before the laser comes by, and don't worry about it seeming repetitve, every level (although basically the same) has a unique feel and great music

    Also, wait for Wipeout Pure

Yea, I ahve NFSU, and its pretty boring....if you liek puzzle type games get Lumines for sure...it got 9.4 on gamespot (editors choice), and has ALOT of replay value...thats the nex game I am going to get. OR, invest in a memory stick to put ur movies and songs on

That's my only reason I want a PSP, so I can put the anime I watch on my comp into a portable screen for those long trips

I just say stick with the computer. I am dispising the PS2 that I bought. What a waste... I think that computer is the true platform.

I think the best games for the psp are Metal Gear Acid and Mercury. Both are fun and addiciting.
