Did you zoom in? you dont really have to zoom in to max if you feather it by about 0.5 px. Anyway, keep it up dude. The render is a choppy and a lot has been cut off.

 

Those free floating spots can be removed with a Rectangular Marquee tool, no need to leave them there

 

Yeh it looks messed up, either u were blind when you were doing this or sleepy, or you took a saw and started cutting places in a wiggly line.
