Oh my.. The blending sucks, sorry. But I'm somewhat experienced at working with stocks.. You take the lasso tool, cut around the stock, feather the selection by about 25-30. Invert the selection, delete it and set it to value. I've used this technique many of times get receive a nice cut on stocks. So try reading some tutorials as well.
