Anyone here in their school jazz band (or any other jazz band)? I just had my concert Wednesday night. I have a video of my three solos, and I'm considering putting them up on YouTube. Some of my friends and I might create a small jazz band for this year's talent show. Any advice?
What do you play? We have a pretty awesome jazz band at my school. I sadly, am not in it. Haha. Not nearly good enough for that stuff.
We don't have a 'Jazz Band' at our school (in fact, we don't have a 'band', full stop), but I do personally play (jazz) trumpet. A friend of mine also plays alto sax...And another of my friends plays drums. Oh, and another plays cello... Maybe I should set up a small jazz band? xP
I play trumpet in the concert band and keyboard in the Senior Jazz Band at my school. We're ... OK. I wish we did harder songs, because I know we can so much more. On a side note, Rubidox, I'd love to know how you did that topmost sig there (it's gorgeous!).
