Its ok for small items, but most average GR members can't afford to spend 2k on a sig and 200 more for the tax. All these members who are "---" get credits no problem but people like me who don't have a rating can't get more than 100 sometimes.

Dumb idea imo, all it will do is lessen the sale of any items here, which will be horrible.

Damn, you people can only think of your pourposes, think of making GR better instead of what would be the best for you...

Though, what dew said is a pretty good point, you could also make a system like this:

    01-99 = 10%
    100-249 = 8%
    250-699 = 6%
    700-1499 = 4%
    1500> = 2%

That's even worse. Taxing the rich less is mass discrimination.

People just wont go for this idea. Shops will charge higher prices in order to get the same ammount, trade will fall, and no-one wants that.

yeah thats true, taxing the rich less is a bad idea, and trade wont fall, and besides that, if it would decrease why would that be so disasterous?

And btw, i dont care if the people dont go for this idea, the admins going for it is enough :P

maybe all around 2% or 5% something lower but enough to effectively get credits out..

i dont know how many are transfered a day but say its 25,000 and with people buying credits this is reasonable its probly alot higher

    at 2% thats 500 credits a day 3500 a week 14000 a month
    at 5% thats 1250 credits a day 8750 a week 35000 a month

im just messing with numbers but after a while those can add up

If done, rather than taking an ammount out of the sent ammount, it should take creds from the seller, not from the money they are sending. So if they send 1000 creds, the 1000 creds goes straight to the seller, but the ammount of creds is then taken from the buyers account.

    Unless you originally meant that...

see problem is ppl losing credits and right know its hard to gain

sellers will raise their prices to get same amoutn they would before but the buyer will keep lose extra credz which will prevent ppl buying as much b/c it adds up quite quickly if ur a big buyer

gr is a market if we tax ppl for it ppl are gonna buy less and prices are gonna increase and soon GR sells will go down

its stupid what is the point in getting creds out of the system anyways
when we had all the pros here and people from Nsl there were millions of creds hoing around and nothing was wrong
i just dont undertsnad why we are trying to get creds out of the system
the more we dot hat the more people hate and leave GR

    Merged Post:

opf cousre we are looking for our purposes if we dont get creds we leave and never come back
    get the idea
    leading to a big depression

^They stopped credits to raise their value, so that they wouldn't become worthless, which is what would have happened if they didn't stop credits increasing.

Could just subtract a single cred from every account everyday...that would get quite alot of creds out :)
