Listen to this awesome plan, to get creds out of circulation much faster and easier. Why don't make tranfer costs, just take 10% off every credit transaction, for example: you send 100 and receiver only gets 90. This shouldnt be too hard to code, if you've got no one to do it, i'd be willing to help as well. But, you guys will have to approve this idea first. I'd like to hear your reactions! :D

Thats going to lead to some sort of confusion when it comes to pricing on sold items.

not if clear rules are made. Something like: transaction costs are for the seller, or something like that. So the seller can ask like 10% more..

Stop making fun of it. And no not like that, because 60 -10% = 54 and not 50.

The seller can just count on the "tax" and just ask 10% more than he would normally ask. Or decide to contribute to the community himself and take the 10 "loss" himself.

if it could be done it would be a great idea but i think it would lead to some confusion and arguements

Yeah godx, it might anger people, but like that, all people will contribute to getting creds out of the system and not just some people donate 1000's of creds just to achieve the goal of 2.5 milj (or was it 1.5?). Besides that. off course, if it would happen unoticed people will start wondering, but if the mods make a news message about it. And the coder implants a warning message, there shouldnt be a problem.

Not liking the sound of this idea, and I'll tell you why. It will make the "economy" even worse in Gamerenders. From what I know, the staff is working hard to spread the flow of credits around Gamerenders, as well as try to eliminate as many credits from the system as possible.
You can't just look at the benefits, implimenting this rule will discourage people from spending credits in GR; this sugesstion has depression written all over it. Sure, this suggestion won't prevent EVERYBODY in Gamerenders from making transactions, but it will definetly prevent a significant number of people.

Furthurmore, many arguments will arise from this; it's a great idea, but you need to look at the wider picture.

I don't thin so bro, because some people might forget about this, then they send the wrong amount of credits to someone but then they say that they got the wrong amount, and a conflict uprises. Also like Snipe said this will make people want to spend less and less at GR making us a bad economic site. So I just think that doing what we are doing now is fine for removing the creds.

    Bad idea sorry.
GR depends alot on the credit system here.
It's one of the most important things to this place.

Discouraging people to spend credits is a very bad idea.

As Snipe said, it has a depression written all over it.

it isnt a disouragement to spend creds, at most it could be a discouragement to sell things, which wouldnt be that bad, since a lot of things which people try 2 sell are never actually sold, since no one bids...

it is discouragement, i barely spend credz know b/c i cant make it up easily b/c credz value is going up b/c if its harder to get, but they were to implant takin a bit of credz out everytime we give ppl some, that'll make ppl spend less and less if u look in the acution place ppl dont bid as much as they used too

its easy to figure out what you will get and what you should raise ur price to to get that..

for example u want to get 1,000 for a sig, multiply that by .10 and that will be the transfer fee, so you would sell it for 1,100

its simple and this is a good idea
