Nothing you do on a computer dissappears forever, gotta live with it. In this day and age anything can be tracked if someone wants it bad enough. Using another search engine won't change anything...
Then you wouldnt care if your phone conversations are taped, Iam assuming you dont talk about terrorism on it.
Not particularly. The google results or "My Phone Conversations" coudn't possible be used for anything bad...why would I care? Like said they can get the information if they need it.
As long as no one is breaking down my front door or watching me with cameras. Only thing worth protecting is Credit Card details and your hardly going to type them in google. Why should you care if some guy you dont know sees a random IP searched for "Abstract Brushes" or "Myspace" Or anything like that, why would you honestly care? And its not like the people that google sell too look through them all, theyd use keywords associated with the terrorist that theyre after, chances are no one is going to see what you searched for.
spying on your internet logs , then phone calls, then credit cards and eventually with cameras .. its simple as that one thing leads to another. And I care because privacy is one of my rights, and by viewing any internet logs or what so ever even if its not going to be used against me is just taking my privacy right away.
I would risk my privacy rights for national security and my own safety. I have nothing to hide, if someone really wants to know about my personal life that badly then let them know.
In answer to the main question, no your search is not safe. Nothing you do on the internet disappears, think about that.
You guys must be searching for very special things if you want to keep your seach history private.
hmm...interesting. it kind of sucks when big companies take advantage of people. good thing, i don't use google.
I think that any search engine can be traced...thats how police are finding these terrorists in the U.K
SHHH! there watching! O.O haha sike, I dont really have a problem with the search engine thing, but i do have a problem with the phone convos being taped. That violates the 4th amendment :0
o.o so if i lived in the UK and googled "plotting terrorist attacks", the authorities could show up at my door?
they would definently look into you, but unless you are consistently making such searches and looking suspicious they won't be showing up at your door.
