is this a good gfx card of should i just go lower and put in sli its for my first build i am willng to go as far as us 315 for a gfx card from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814150139 and is this a good dvd burner i need one and i am willing to go as hih as 40 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16827106013
it's a good card, comes with a factory OC... I'd either get that or the x1800XT for 50$ less... it's argueable but the x1800XT is typically considered a better card in terms of performance(especially if you OC)
I am retarded i bought a 7800GT for 300 dollars and i could have goten a 7900GT for 5 dollars less kinda weird how its less then the lower version i would have gone wit the 7900GT but already bought the 7800GT its a GREAT card good choice ALSO get this CD Burner the one you chose is crappy considering all the bad reviews. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16827106992
This dvd-burner: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16827101010 to above poster, I got totally screwed man. much worse than that..so be happy u didnt buy on holidays. You know before the gfx cards went down majorly, and so did the cpu a bit. and my ram & mobo a tad bit also...ya know..
If you have your mind set on nVidia definitely go with a BFG. Much better quality card than either eVGA or XFX. Radeon, the x1800XT is a great card but only buy ATI and none of the other brands. Currently I have my first nVidia card ever (BFG 7800GTX) and I would have to say in my experience it delivers better quality and performance than ATI as a whole. However, I was more satisfied in games with the Radeon. -bLiNd
is it compatiable with this mobo or should i get crossair http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131568
twizted, help, or be gone. NOW... Gskill is the highest quality you can get. just make sure it is compatable with your mobo. why don't you edit your first post, and post what all you want to buy, and we can better help you.
posted the mobo i plan to buy my total budget is 1500 io got my parents ok and it will be my first build this time its confirmed
it is excellent ram, I have some myself and was abel to get it to 261 at stock timings and 2.6V might be able to get even better if I try though, I myself am relatively innexperienced in OCing(by my standards, I know what to do from reading A LOT OF GUIDES I just lack a ton of experience) it was better priced when it was 150 though, it might be better to get OCz gold, not sure though. as for th motherboard, get the DFI ultra-D or SLI-D, better bang/$
no reason to get a $200 motherboard. a $100 -> $150 would satisfy just fine. look into the DFI-ultra lanparty, those seem to be popular.
