Without loseing quality. I normally take screenshots form games and then cut out the characters to make renders. But the screenshots are normally really small, when I try to increase the size of it I lose alot of quality and it becomes blurry. Is there something I could do to keep the quality better, maybe a program or special settings to use in Photoshop. Thx.

I'm pretty sure you can't aswell. The image can be made smaller, but not bigger most of the time.

Mhmm I was afarid of that. It would of been kool if it was not soo. For example the pic's in my Sig I cut it out form a FMV. I wanted to make it into a wallpaper but it was too small and when I try to make it bigger it looks messed up.

Its just computer technology. If you expand an image the pixels will be bigger and more visable, therfore, making it look bad.
Maybe sometime in the future they can do this :)
Making it smaller is different, you are droping the pixel sizes and you cant tell when its small ;)

You can make a render larger, but It'll become blurry and distorted, so your best bet is just to start with a large render, and make it smaller as needed. ^_^ I hope that helps you.

There are programs that can do this. But currently, only the Department of Defense has access to them [blowing up security camera shots to get better view of details].

I think there are some software available that can enlarge an image with little loss of quality. Search on download.com for software reviews.
