Hmmm... I dont know if i really am the only person who cares...but... When do people stop giving out ripped brushes!! Just browsing around the forum i have seen 2 thread where people give them out.... 1. http://www.gamerenders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=155199 2. http://www.gamerenders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=156627 Both the Wildw0lf and Cougar42 brushes were removed by the original owners because the contained 'ripped images', and everytime I see people offer them or even beg for them. This pisses me, WW and Cougar42 off. They asked for those packs to be deleted and yet a small group of **** 'forgets' to do so. I hope by creating this thread to clear this up for the last time!! Bratzer PS, why are people still giving out brushes they didnt make in the first place?
For rep... Yea, Ive seen a lot of brush packs including ripped brushes from DA and other sites, and the people dont know or care
Maybe some people like me dont go on DA therefore we dont know whats on there and what isnt. But yes i agree people who actually know if they are ripped or not should not give them away, as they KNOW that they are ripped etc. They are not setting a good example for other/new members. I was going to give someone a huge pack of brushes i got off a friend, then girly told me i couldnt as it may have contained ripped brushes, so i stopped uploading them as it may have.
even if you arent a member at deviant art you can still browse through the resource sections at da and look through the brushes you like and even download them its jus being respectful to the artists who creat them
Yeah thats the thing, i dont go on there, lol Ive been on a couple of times when people link their work to it, thats about it. I dont look at anything else, like brushes etc. I know youve got to be respectful to the artists, im not disputing that or anything else tbh. But people who do go on there should respect the fact that someone else created the brushes and unless they have permission to give the brushes away, they shouldnt
Personally - If i made a brush set - i wouldn't give a toss weather someone handed my brushes out... I'd feel good, knowing that my work is being distributed... Still... if the creator doesn't want their stuff being handed out without his/her permission... then peepz should R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Some people redistribute brushes made by the artist without credits going to the artist who made it, which in my opinion is rather disrespectful like renders actually.
