Is C-s 1.6 Same As Cz Or Are They Different?

    pretty usless question...google ffs! and cs came before cz... they are diffrent from each other...

    google? hm.. well its the same yes but just other wapon skins and charackter skins. thats all :) And yeah you can play Singelplayer.
    And no its not newer.

    CZ has better graphics (not by much though), some different weapons, but that's about it.

    Buy "Counter Strike 1 Anthology" Then u'll get:
    Counter Strike
    Counter Strike: Condition Zero (cz)
    Counter Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes (some newer cz maps)
    And the newest is Counter Strike Source, it's a pack u can buy CSS and get Day of Defeat Source (dod:s) too, u'll also get Half-Life 2:Deathmatch if u take last choice

    CounterStrike 1.6 is the older avalible version (that i know of really) out, (released like in 98 i think) and Condition Zero was released like 2 years ago, the graphics are better n stuff but meh, i prefer 1.6 over it.

    Source really is my favorite, although you dont need much skill for the game I like it cus its alot more realiztic and the new graphics and wep skin n ---- own :D

    Then you better ask him to buy you Halflife 2, cus Source comes with that. You cant actually buy Source itseld ;)

    Counter Strike 1.6 is the original Counter Strike that has been around for along time, thus the graphics are pretty low end, however it is the most popular online game atm, and is used ALOT in Pro Tournaments and Lan Parties.

    Counter Strike: Condition Zero is similar to CS1.6 in terms of visuals, but has a few new things, but the most important thing is that it has a single player mode as well whereas the other CS games are multiplayer only.

    Counter Strike: Source is at the core CS1.6 but completely updated visuals, sounds and physics with the use of the Source Engine which was used to power the impressive Half Life 2. CS:S is the subject of alot of debate, as it is very different is terms of gameplay from the original, and some didnt like it. However for the majority, and me included, the game is an amazing multiplayer game, and is very addictive.

    I personally prefer CS:S, but Im sure some will disagree. If you have a decent spec PC go for CS:S.

    John you can buy source by itself for 19.99

    oh and 1.6 is not the original, quite esily you can see there was 1.0-1.5 before it, its simply the latest 1.x so they only sell that one, and yes there were changes, not just anti-hack and things
