I'd get rid of the angled strokes and expand the smudging. I'd also go for a simple black border, perhaps even a thicker one to give a more movie-like look. As for texting, don't do that cross-like thing, doesn't really fit in here
like the smudging on the left, it blends the render well. but on the right it looks like a lot less effort...i like the color style though gj
