I was just wondering, if you were to get an iPod touch, would u or would u not buy warranty with it? Where i live a 2 year warranty costs like $140.
no. the ipod touch is worth around $150 or so in an of itself. paying a $140 warranty for a item worth $150 is stupid. if it breaks, just go out and buy another media player with more features for the same price.
i said i wasnt going to buy an ipod touch but i did... i didnt get a warranty or anything on it, i would only get it on a mobile phone or something along those lines but not an ipod.
iPods come with a 1 year warranty as is. here and today you can get better players for $140, a year from now however, $140 will get you something EVEN better.
i guess you don't get a 140$ warranty for a 150$ item, maybe in a year the Ipod touch costs like 130$ and your Ipod breaks, not you saved yourself 10$
I wouldn't buy one since the warranty is about the same price as buying a new one, But for bigger things I always buy warrantys.
as a general rule, if its gonna break it will in the first year which would usually be covered under the warranty provided with the product.
I would not get one! It would make me want to keep it more safe anyway! I never break things like iPods!
On bigger stores here you get warranty when you buy iPods for example. But its always good if you drop it into the toilet, that should be covered by your insurance (I think).
