I researched and talked with a lot of people, and this is what is found.

    ---------------

The iPhone has an internal battery, so if you iPhone's batter goes bad (which it will), you have to ship it back.

The iPhone has a glass screen, so one drop might crack the screen.

The iPhone does not have innsurants, so when you walk out of the apple store with your iPhone, its your responsibilty.

The iPhone cannot turn side ways when emailing, so the touch keypad is small.

The iPhone is a total rip off, 500 for 4GB, 600 for 8GB

The iPhone does not have GPS, as most phones now a days do.

The internet, is by AT&T, and we all know (hopefully) that they have the worst internet.

The browser doesnt have java, or micromedia flash, or Adobe Flash.

The iphone doesnt have a stylus, so the screen will have fingerprints, and styluses are easier for texting, ...ect

AT&T doesn't have so bad of a connection.

conversely they're on the worse part of the AT&T network due to the simple fact that apple didn't want to increase hardware costs.

long story short it costs around $230 to make and is sold for $600.
    PDAs have more features.

Yeah. I just get whatever is free at the time that I renew my contract. I don't really have a reason to get an iphone.

Oh you also forgot the one that states that we all know the only reason that people post stuff of this nature about it is because they can't afford it and the jealousy melting through their veins is of great magnitude.
Let it go, like anyone on here will buy one anyways. You're not going to sway any one with your pre-pubescent views. If you have complaints about the product go to Apple about it, maybe they might find them useful, as for posting them here... sorry but I can't do anything about the small keypad or java.

someone who's used to one and needs precision instead of a low accuracy low resolution touch screen with decent guessing algorithms.

I'm not impressed by apples .15megapixel screen when the rest of the competition has .3-.6MP screens

also not impressed by the ----ty camera.

or by the fact that infineon is the primary manufacturer of the iPhone's components.
if you know anything about the PC industry, infineon makes lowend parts sold in high volume. In short they make crap and lots of it.

    wrath drop it.

everyone knows apple sells the iPhone at around a 130% profit margin, something unheard of in the tech industry.
Everyone knows AT&T makes around $1200 on average off the service.

some of us just prefer to use out money on other things. You get can get a lot more for your money elsewhere. Many people don't mind paying for quality but if the quality and feature set associated with other objects at a given price point isn't there they won't bother paying the premium
