Ipb Question

    ok i just installed ipb it came with my hosting..
    all i need to know is how to make it so people can buy a subscription.
    and i also need to know how i can out rotator images on the bottom like here..

    they are mods. try invisioneers, or ask BFTP.

    iNVISIONEERS.com is now offline. To have subscriptions, there should be a setting in the AdminCP for subscriptions. Just set it up to link to your paypal. There is a mod on invisionize to have affiliate rotators added to the bottom of your board, not sure of the exact name though. I think it is made my Dean.<<<Not 100% positive.

    To make it so people can buy subscriptions, you need to set up a payment gateway.

    What version of IPB are you using?

    It does say at the bottom, but you didnt give us your forums URL so we can see it.

    Your using 1.2, i imagine this was found in your cPanel. You need to at least upgrade to 1.3 to use the Subscription Manager, and yes HydrogeN was correct; the modification is made by Dean ;)

    dam i clicked the upgrade thing in the ACP and it says page cannot be displayed...:P


    what do i do :eek:

    The links in the ACP no longer work as Invison revamped things. TO upgrade you need to find the files for 1.3 somewhere, or go buy the newest version.

    Legally, you cant get the files from anyone, and need to buy it.
