Okay well in IPB the root admin took himself off root into admin with myself and another member. So there is 3 Admins, but no Roots. He did something to change us back to Roots. But when we try installing a modification, it says "You must be root admin to do this" anyone know what to do too fix it.
What exactly did he do to get back onto root admin? (if I may ask of course) But check the permission of the persons seperatly, perhaps they don't match.
log into phpMyAdmin go to ipf_members in your forums database. Click on the browse tab, click edit next to the member you want to give root to. Look for Code: mgroup under fields, it should be the third one down, then go and change the number on the far right to 4 as this is the usual value for roots, scroll to the bottom, hit go and you should be back upto root.
