    does anyone now how to fix this error when installing ipb.


    SQL error: Access denied for user: 'apache@localhost' (Using password: NO)
    SQL error code:

    you need to add the user to the sql database

    go find your conf_global.php file, open it and make sure you have the correct sql ID & PW in the correct fields. Once you do that, save and upload the edited conf_global.php back to your server. Should be fine then. :)
