Ipb Forum Help

I have IPB version 2.1.7 installed, it works great cept one major problem.

When ever a member's profile is changed it, changes their post count back down to zero. For example if i change a regular member to moderator, it will change their count to zero.

Its not just that htough, it does it when ever any aspect of a meber is changed.

Please if any one could help me that would be great.

I really don't know about this one man. Might be some error in the coding or something. Im sure one of the IPB Gods can help you

 

I have a 2.1.7 board up on a fresh install just to test it out and I tested this and it didn't happen to me. Did you by chance install any mods yet?

 

I think it is just a coding problem. Back up forum and members and then re install the forum. If it doesn't fix it get another 2.1.7 software thing

 

Yea i think thats the best idea, and yes i installed a few mod. Ill post over at the ipb forum if not ill try your idea.

I've got good knowledge of IPB

 

It sounds like one of the mods, for some reason, has told the database to edit itself upon another part of the member being edited.

Try a fresh install.
